Michelle Schrag, RN, BSN, recently joined Newton Medical Center, in partnership with Kindred Rehabilitation Services, as program director for the hospital’s Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit.

She graduated from Hesston College and Fort Hays State University with degrees in nursing. In addition, she is working towards her Master of Business Administration degree, with an anticipated completion at the end of this year. Michelle brings experience as a trauma program manager and rehabilitation clinical liaison. Most recently, she managed a rapid recovery unit and the quality assurance and process improvement program in a skilled nursing facility.

She lives in Inman with her husband, and together they have three sons.
